George Cherepov (1909-1987) was a Lithuanian born painter best known for his oil paintings of New England landscapes. Cherepov trained as an artist prior to emigrating to the United States in the 1950's. He settled in the Northeastern U.S. where he established himself as an oil painter and published books on oil painting techniques.
